Movement has always been part of my life, and the body has always been my starting point for understanding what creates balance and what, slowly, wears it down.
For years I worked in engineering and consulting, in demanding and fast-paced environments. Long hours sitting, tension building almost without noticing. I know well what happens when we live too long on autopilot.
It was racket sports, and today especially tennis, that taught me most about repetition, asymmetry and what effort quietly accumulates in the body. It was through that physical demand that I came to yoga, a practice that taught me to listen differently and that led me to Thai Yoga Massage. I trained in Lisbon and deepened this practice in Chiang Mai, in northern Thailand, where this tradition is still taught authentically.
I came back with a different way of touching. More present. More aware of what the body needs to recover. Today I work mostly with people I recognise in myself: professionals with fast-paced lives and athletes who already feel in their bodies what daily life keeps accumulating. In sessions, my goal is simple: to help you leave feeling better than when you arrived.
The Session
We work on the floor, on a comfortable futon, allowing more space for movement and better leverage for stretching.
Soft and rhythmic pressure along the body, which can become deeper depending on what the moment asks for.
Assisted stretches, similar to passive yoga postures. You let go, I guide.
A calm space. Enough time. For the nervous system to stand down.
